I rely on the bus to take me almost everywhere that shoe leather can't manage by itself, you see.

They're off, I can pretty much guarantee it. I'm not betting on a last-minute deal, either.

It's too bad OC isn't like the STM or TTC and won't even be offering limited peak service.

I too am dependent on the bus to get to work. I also work an odd shift, which makes almost impossible to find a carpool. If neither side backs down, either the taxis can expect a windfall ... or I am out of a job -- again.

Needless to say, I am not happy. It took SIX WEEKS to settle it last time. It had better not take that long ... or the merchants and motorists will notice a difference -- and (given the current economic mess) it may make the difference between survival and folding for some retailers.
