I am now Very Nervous.

I too am dependent on the bus to get to work. I also work an odd shift, which makes almost impossible to find a carpool. If neither side backs down, either the taxis can expect a windfall ... or I am out of a job -- again.
Needless to say, I am not happy. It took SIX WEEKS to settle it last time. It had better not take that long ... or the merchants and motorists will notice a difference -- and (given the current economic mess) it may make the difference between survival and folding for some retailers.
