Political Gunfight at the CBS Corral?

dewlineSeems to me there might be a political fight at CBS HQ soon, if not now, between the bosses of the news division vs. those of the Star Trek offices...because I've seen the content and casting of the current Trek series. And have you noticed who the news division's taking on as commentators? Mulvaney and who else?
Yes, I am absolutely speculating in an ill-informed way here. It looks to me like the two divisions of the company are going to be at cross-purposes.
