Anyone know a good type of bandage for dealing with that special kind of blistering that the CPAP mask makes on the bridge of your nose if it's fastened too tightly? I'd had this earlier nose-and-mouth mask for about a year, and didn't have this kind of problem. Bought the new machine, tubing, filters and mask and I think I've got the mask too tight. You don't want "mask farts", but you don't want this blistering either.

I use the nose pillows and headgear, so I'm afraid I don't have a suggestion.

(I get cuts inside my nose instead)

There's a gel that can be used for the nasal prongs, but I see no reason it cannot be used for any place that needs some protection and a level of "seal". I'll look up the brand I've used for the same problem, but I'm thinking Vaseline (or any "goopy", non-drying gel could work). The key would be something that would not degrade the mask components (non-petroleum).

Ah, found a couple: Ocean gel (mostly for nasal use), and something called CPAPChap that I recall working well to protect/seal if I moved off my back).

Also, there's this; I have not tried this route as the gels worked for me. I'm not sure what is available to you via your healthcare, but the Respironics Gel Masks minimized the problem for my use case.
