Three jobs applied for today. Tried for a fourth, but couldn't log into the website properly for that company. Still waiting for the password reset e-mail half an hour later.

Oh, I might be looking for a new place for me and my personal library to live starting next January.

"Might?" Probably will be. Long story, not all of it mine to share. Not right now, anyway. Not going to count on lottery money showing up to save anyone's day, let alone mine. But, yeah, this adds a little urgency for unloading some of my collections.

Yeah, I found job application sites varied markedly. Some were unusuable for non-US-based applicants but nearly all would have benefited from a, how could we improve this application process? as a last question. Sometimes the answer would be, simply, don't use JavaScript that insists on attempting some heavyweightly slow custom widget set that works worse than the native.

And then there's the sites that don't work properly unless you turn off Privacy Badger at your end, for example. I could name names, but I still have to deal with them and they might've fixed the problem at their ends since then.

I'm still fairly certain that I'm making too many mistakes in my search to succeed at the moment.
