Looking at the Environment Canada forecast page for Ottawa at this moment that I first wrote this blog entry, it seems that one of my neighbours across the street is right: we can expect snow at some point later today or tonight.

Oh joy.

It's snowing here in Denver now and will most of today. North of the city they already have about six inches.

When I moved here I was surprised to learn that our snowiest month is March, followed closely by April. Temps are usually warm enough to make for a quick melt, but it's just under the freezing mark now and we expect to be in the teens F tonight! Tomorrow will be a challenge for those who have to drive!

I don't know what that means but I'm intrigued. I'll be curious to see what you find (and what you do with it)!

Sorry, I fear we are pushing a cold snap up and it's probably going to pick up moisture on the way.

Naturally, the heating season would have been done in some years, but I only bought one furnace filter not two. ;)
