WEATHER/CLIMATE(?): A Quick Note

We're at 12ºC in Ottawa-Gatineau at the moment, per Environment Canada.

We're likely to spend the rest of this week in a mix of weather conditions, dancing back and forth across the freezing mark, but daylight hours will be mostly above-freezing, whatever else is going on. Normal for March around here, probably. But it still seems a bit early for my comfort.

We've had overnight rain since my initial post on this topic. I don't know yet if we're going to see flooding along the Ottawa River - Kitchi Sibi (sp.?) - again this spring.

I drove to Phoenix Saturday in a lightweight shirt. Sunday and Monday did errands similarly clothed and actually turned on my car's air conditioning. Under New Mexico conditions, I'd just open a window, but I can't handle Phoenix air pollution.
