Contrary to what Our Beloved Leader thinks, we're not close to a vaccine to Covid-19, and you don't develop cures for coronviruses as they tend to mutate. So the Saudis are going to be pissadointed if they want a cure or vaccine by the end of July of this year. It's unlikely a vaccine will even be in human-stage testing by that time!
Here’s a BBC article that has a good summary of where we stand with a Covid-19 vaccine:
https://www.bbc.com/news/health-51665497 https://www.bbc.com/news/health-51665497
Daily news sources:
HuffPo, Slate, BBC, Slashdot
Frequent news sources, i.e. usually weekly:
Ars Technica, The Atlantic, Politico, Der Spiegal International/English edition, NPR, CBC
I also like Salon, but their app turned to crap. I don’t know if their web site is any better. I’m very fond of The Atlantic and Der Spiegel, I like long-form journalism. Another good one is Pro Publica, VERY long-form, but because of that it doesn’t update very often and isn’t very current.
