As a consumer of the works of many newspaper columnists from across Canada and the wider worlds, I don't know yet what I make of that. She hasn't been one I've followed closely in recent years. So "indifferent" might be a good adjective for my opinion right now. Some of you in my audience will have other opinions...?

She contributed to campaigns of hatred and violence against people of colour, the working class, the impoverished, Indigenous peoples, anyone who didn't agree with her extreme right views, basically. It's not a matter of a difference of opinion, but a prolonged platform given to someone who caused tangible harm to human beings. I'm glad the world is rid of her. She was also a sloppy writer.
