They ask because we're expecting some serious rainfall tomorrow night, serious enough to wreck the fun of a lot of honest young haunters looking for treats to play tricks for.

Over a dozen kids on my street took that advice, as of this reply's writing. How many more will do likewise before the night wraps up, I can't say.
