After listening to him discuss the state of his nation today on The Current(scroll down to Part 3), I am convinced that Mr. Kucinich really ought to be a Major Front-runner Candidate in the 2008 US Presidential Elections.

(If you want, you can check out Current archives on their site and/or subscribe to their podcasts. Either way, I guarantee some interesting news discussion!)

I have indeed seen one or two photos of the two of them together.

I'd love it.

Never gonna happen.

Probably not - I still hold out dreams for equally improbable dream coalitions on Parliament Hill - but he does strike me as someone the US needs to have on the ballot next November along with whomever else gets the nod from their respective current parties. I hope he finds the support for that, at least, whatever else happens.

And that was supposed to be me taking credit/blame for my own remarks.

Dennis Kucinich

Changing the conversation about Electoral politics. I am fully aware of how corrupt things are. However, the system works like this: the Primary vote is crucial. It determines who gets the nomination. If we allow the corporate big money campaign donations and corporate media to influence our thinking as to the electability a candidate does or does not have then we are cooperating with the privatization of our Democracy which equals Fascism. We need to stop the colonization of our minds and choose who we believe is the best person to lead in our interests, not corporate interests. The Primaries are moving up the calender year they are beginning in January of 2008. We must use the upcoming holiday season to be with friends and family to discuss Dennis Kucinich in a serious manner. We are running out of time to be quibbling with futile arguments that keep us supporting the lesser of two evils (and consequently the status quo); rather than supporting the candidate who will really be a public servant and work to support the needs of working Americans. The question is do we really want to save our Democracy and equalize the balance of power, or do we want to pretend Democracy under the dark cloud of Fascism. Dennis is the only candidate that will bring about meaningful change. I propose Dennis Kucinich as President, Cynthia McKinney as Vice President, and Ron Paul appointed to the Federal Reserve. Vote your conscience in the Primaries.

Not being an American, but living right next door in more than one sense alone, I have my concerns about the path the USA's been taking of late this last decade or so. Certainly, Mr. Kucinich seems to be a person with a solid grasp of the nature of the problems facing both our nations and others besides.

I'd be glad to know in what way you're speaking - however informally on his behalf, though...?
