...specifically the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Because that document isn't getting enough attention and respect. There are fools who consider the Declaration to be just plain obscene, in fact.

I doubt that I have any such people in my circles here on Dreamwidth, mind you. There were times when I've had to cut off people whom I suspect of feeling that way over on Facebook, and I suspect I left it too long in several instances. That was my failing.

We're supposed to stay in touch with those people so we can reform them or something. Ugh.

In several cases, I decided that I had to protect my mental health first. Especially against hangers-on in the other person's friendlist who were determined to be openly toxic/hostile.

Agreed. I have no interest in reaching out to people who aren't reaching back.
