WEATHER: Closing Out the Week of National Birthdays

I went outside to fetch groceries and lunch from the local mall. It's 10-15 minutes away on foot, as previously noted, which usually makes it convenient. It also led to me coming home drenched from sweating. And I note that - as I type this - Ottawa's under heat warning and severe thunderstorm watch as defined by Environment Canada.

So I think I'll job-hunt and web-chat from the basement for the rest of today. Picking up my copy of the Star Trek Ships of the Line Calendar 2020 edition can wait a day or two.

I worked up a sweat walking for the newspaper this morning, at about 0630.

Here it's 86°F but it feels like 94°F. Yeah, that's a bit warmer than the winter I had. =)

However, I am eating fresh raspberries. Like seconds off the cane fresh.
