I'll probably look the term up myself later today, but it comes up in at least one advertised position at the CBC in my Workopolis alert subscriptions this morning.

Any thoughts?

If Spark is looking for new people, I expect that the Workopolis alert would have included profiles of the posts to be filled.

Yeah, I was trying to make a joke about intelligent products but I don't think it was very funny outside my head.

and I don't know what to think except "yuck" and I'm glad I don't work there where such a position is needed/wanted, but that just proves that I don't really understand what's going on there.

I think I still don't want to work where such a position is valued, but again that is just my lack of understanding, I suspect.

This reads like a consequence of things like Mozilla Firefox's Crash Reporter and user acceptance testing in a more general sense.
