My Flickr and Facebook Problems

Update on the Flickr issue: when I try to open the login page?

• Opera: blank page
• Firefox: blank page
• Chrome: blank page
• Safari: unsupported browser

So unless I want to physically swap computers, because the browsers on my favourite machine are no longer upgradeable, I'm stuck and locked out of my Flickr account. Same as if I try to log into my Facebook account on any browser but this edition of Chrome on the machine I'm using right now.

I've got a second-hand Macbook (not Pro) that's still somewhat upgradeable, but my Facebook problem remains, right? I can't log into this account using the "newer" machine.

Yeesh. Have you tried purging cookies for Flickr and accessing it again?

Sorry to hear it. Obviously I have no idea what your setup is like. My dream machine when I start working again will be a 2012 MacBook Pro, which will give me all sorts of software fits, I'm hoping that I can run newer operating systems in VMs on it if I run in to severe problems.

I've since gotten confirmation: "Unsupported browser" messages when I attempt to log in.

Virtual machines...I know they work for a lot of people around the world, yet I find my brain responding with "Rube Goldberg"...
