I have another Eye Institute checkup tomorrow morning. This one will include a first: an ultrasound scan. I remember being told this is to establish a baseline for the stuff they're keeping watch on inside my left eyeball.

I also remember being told what they're looking at during my last appointment, and I remember writing the phrase down. I can't recall the phrase, though.

Huh! I can't say that I've ever heard of an eye ultrasound! I shall be interested in hearing a description of the event and I hope they don't find anything nasty or surprising.

My brain just goes WHAAAA? when I think about eye ultrasounds.  Gonna have to ask my eye doc about it the next time I see her (such a hardship going to the eye doc: she is an absolute fox!).  My condition needs a camera to map its progression, so US would be irrelevant.

Hmm. Since the ultrasounds I've had (uterus and heart) have involved goop applied to the outside of the body for the stubby little wand to glide smoothly, I shall be interested in how they do this: please to report.

In the meantime, best wishes that it is stably being stable and uneventful with evidence of continuing stable for ages.
