Did anyone on my friendlist read an Opinion essay in today's hardcopy edition of the Ottawa Citizen by a Stefan Dolgert of Brock University arguing the case for Canada acquiring nuclear weapons?

Man, there are some great medical things that are a byproduct from the development of the atomic bomb, and I've benefited from those. And we would have a much smaller space probe program without atomic power. But all in all, that's one genie's bottle that I wish hadn't been uncorked.
