Okay, here's something weird.
I checked out the Record Jacket Historian Blog by David Fedoruk. First time I'd done so in a few months, since my attack of checking every digital rights blog I could think of back during the heyday of the Sony Rootkit Scandal.
Anyway, Fedoruk gets The Twilight Zone mixed up with The Outer Limits for the purposes of the analogy in this particular posting, but he points out a new US patent application by Phillips that makes me a little nervous. Details here.
