I've often suspected that your average professional inker has to have the occasion bout of confusion over which nib to apply to which line(s), even after 20-30 years in the business(if they're very good and very lucky). Considering how many different tools they need to keep at hand nowadays, ranging from Bic pens to computer workstations, it's a wonder any of them survives any length of time.

These guys and gals deserve Respect. Capitalization intended. Of that, I am now -- as ever -- absolutely convinced.

Still plugging away at Local Hero # 1, in other words. I like the sense of progress I'm making. More on this later, and hopefully some excerpts from the finished art as well as design sketches will end up (linked to) here sooner than later.
