Ria Misra has a point. For a covert organization recently flushed out of hiding, many of whose members are ducking for cover (again), these guys are seriously into marking their turf and their people.

Considering how many of them are ex-SHIELD - by choice or by enslavement (per this week's revelations in "Making Friends and Influencing People") - surely some of them have heard of the RICO Statutes in the States? All that branded stuff has to draw attention back to them again sooner than later.

How many folks outside of SHIELD knew:

1. That HYDRA was behind the collapse of the agency?
2. That these are the same guys that were involved in WW2?

I mean, for all most people know, it could be someone using the name and logo ironically. It's not like the Ten Rings, who actively announced their involvement in terrorist activities.

1. Talbot's TV interview in "Shadows" seems to have settled that one: the knowledge of that part of the status quo is widespread. Even though some people disagree over how to interpret what they've been told about it.

2. Rogers, Wilson, Romanova and Hill would've been firm in their assertions about this HYDRA being a creation of a survivor of the original organization. And Romanova was very public about it.

Again, how much the public believes about what they've been told by which sources is up for discussion, but the truth has been made public.
