James Daily and Ryan Davidson are co-authoring a weblog on the depiction of legal issues in pop culture in general, science fiction and fantasy in particular. Today, their eyes focused on one of Canada's better-known recent TV exports in that field, Orphan Black.

Damn it!
Date: 2014-05-02 04:00 am (UTC)I'd been thinking of writing something to that effect, that I'm liking the show quite a lot, despite having to hold my brain's nose about that central premise. Of course, there wouldn't be much a show if they just found a lawyer and got themselves declared human — or else, it would be a very different show.
But nevertheless, if you can get past that it's a pretty good show, in'it?
