Well 'today' is irrelevent as it is only an hour and a quarter old, so you have had a below average week, rather than a 'nosedive' IMO. More data required. Mine has been a typical quiet week.
I'll admit to coming at this with an outright bias - admitted it flat out the night I found out what happened - and you're right about a need for further data.
Depending on how things shake out, I'll also be interested in recommendations for alternative sites. Especially if I can migrate pictures, captions and associated text straight off to the "fallback position".
Also, I've just realised that you have to take into account the multiple viewings of the same photo in the old counting - same person might view on photo page plus lightbox plus different sizes. This is less likely to happen with the new default view. I'm not liking losing Collections from other's veiw of 'me'.
