Seeing the pattern of "Defend the Tarsands Cash Stream at all costs to everything and everyone else!" in play, it's nigh impossible to argue with that.

I have to admit, I don't really understand the issue. Tar Sands oil isn't as bad as coal, about the same as Russian and Nigerian oil. Why should we be the one who get singled out all the time?

Because we haven't yet gotten ourselves as deep into the consequences of the First Law of Petropolitics as Nigeria and Russia have?

Then again, given the vote supression tactics used via telephone last federal election...
