dewlineToday's the fiftieth anniversary of Yuri Gagarin's first flight into space.
If there's anything going on in Ottawa in celebration of that fact, then it's likely that I've missed the news of it. But I do hope that something's happening to honour the occasion somewhere in this city, as it is elsewhere across the planet via the Yuri's Night parties.
Here's to fifty more years of human spaceflight...and more beyond that!
