For those of you in pothole-plagued regions: Spacing Ottawa's got a piece on technology applied to tracking the problem that originally got built for disaster-response work.

Anthony Schein writes of his concern over the state of mind and philosophy of Toronto's new mayor. I'm not sure that Mr. Schein's wrong about this, personally.

[livejournal.com profile] rfmcdpei has a posting up at Demography Matters dealing with another aspect of Toronto's current situation, focusing on what's starting to be called the "three cities" issue, as well as another on History and Futility on the state of bookmarking/filing on the Net viewed through the lens of the del.icio.us Situation.

On the recommendation of [livejournal.com profile] ms_danson and [livejournal.com profile] james_nicoll, I'm adding [livejournal.com profile] lawmultiverse to my list of feeds. It picks up a bit where Bob Ingersoll started out re: law and superheroics in comic books. Hoping you have fun with it too.
