It was yesterday, and I forgot to pay it due respect. For a Saskatchewan-born who values what Douglas did for the province and the country, that was...bad behaviour on my part. To put it mildly.

Granted that he's buried here in Ottawa at Beechwood, but as mentioned earlier in the year, I'd still like to get out to Weyburn to pay respects where his political career truly started...

And of course, we've since learned of Sagan Day (http://www.carlsaganday.com/) as well. Which seems at least as worthy of celebration for different reasons!
