In an ideal world, I'd be able to meet Harlan's price and be able to buy it for locomotive_poe, who introduced me to Harlan all those years ago.

It's not an auction, and there's no asking price. So buyers have no idea how to approach this or when and how their offer will be considered. What, they are collecting offers and then will call the highest one? Eventually?

This is not a serious sale. Ellison should have found a professional to sell this.

It's serious enough for Messrs. Ellison and Silver's purposes, and I trust Tony Isabella to have confirmed that this is For Real. Messrs. Ellison and Silver can set this up any damned or blessed way they like.
