"Wide-ranging and eclectic" would be a short answer. If you're looking for a list of bands and musicians, I claim an interest in select tunes from the following:

Corb Lund, Rush(the band from Ontario), Christopher Franke, Mike Post, Schaun Tozer(particularly his soundtrack work on Intelligence), Sarah McLachlan, Bruce Cockburn, Ember Swift, Bear McCreary, the Art of Noise, John Williams(coincidentally sharing that name with my Dad), Eurythmics, Jay Semko(with and without the Northern Pikes), Jimmy Swift Band, Leonard Cohen, Matchbox Twenty...it's a long list.
