Had excellent Indian food and, then, saw Gran Torino. Now, watching the Golden Globes and digging seeing so many movies I have enjoyed get awards.

I had no idea it was Sir John A. day. I had Indian food, did a bit of overtime, and listened to "Boxer" by The National (great CD). But now that I know, I'm having a glass of wine in his honour. :D

200th Anniversary of his birth comes up in 2015. And I think he was a whiskey man, wasn't he?

I did a pile of necessary errands, and had coffee at Bridgehead, then spent the afternoon at the hospital with maaseru.

While in Britten's magazine store, I noticed a biography of Sir John A that was new to me - I'd like to read it.

Sadly, I find it all but impossible to get to a library just now. I just don't have the time, when you factor all that walking into account - and the Rideau Branch is temporarily closed.
