I see things like this one alerting me to some legal news posted by Michael Geist.

Good sports, the Nettwerk crew. And I've been hearing that "made in Canada for Canadian retail outlets" editions of their albums are DRM-free. I've been hoping for independent confirmation of that, but so far, no one seems willing to test it.

Positive developments, I see.

DRM remains a bad idea. Any use of technology to limit the use of technology should raise conceptual alarms.

Indeed. I wonder how many of the RIAA's Big Four(or is it Five?) ever read Analog/Astounding, Amazing, Asimov's and the like growing up. If they didn't, that might explain their gaps in reasoning.
