Health: Lung Health Update

Whatever I caught, it still wasn't COVID, and I think I'm past the worst of it. What's left is mostly clearing out the junk stuck in the lungs. I don't think I'm going to need the ibuprofen for that.

Good news, yay! I have a coworker who exhausted his sick days but last week was still recovering from some gut illness with "double pneumonia", whatever that is? It sounds unpleasant. I'm glad your lung issues are improving.

I vaguely remember hearing about "double pneumonia". And "walking pneumonia". Neither of which sounds great...

This is just my impression as a non-medical person, but I think "double pneumonia" means both lungs are affected. Not sure if "walking pneumonia" is actually a scientific or medical term although I've heard that one too. Doesn't it just mean that the patient somehow goes about their day-to-day life, unaware that they have pneumonia?

Walking pneumonia
