...but the Cyan and Magenta aren't showing up at all, and there's gap-lines in the Black ink, and I keep getting error messages. It's the most immediate problem I have, and there's other people dealing with far worse than me at the moment if I need reminding of the perspective.

The printer head cleaning seems to have worked to a point. I've replaced the Cyan cartridge, since that finally exhausted its ink supply. Eventually, I'm going to have to test it to be sure of whatever fixes I've made so far.
Oh, the tablet computer from Air Miles arrived today. I'm letting it warm up to room temperature before I test it out because I walked it home from the post office.
