dewline: Musical note symbol ending in a maple leaf (canadian music)
I went to the City Archives for the vinyl LP music sale today. There were hopes that I could find stuff for a relative to fill out gaps in their blues/jazz collection, but that wasn't to be. Turns out the donor's collection was largely performances of material written well before 1900 CE. Some soundtracks from the 1950's to the 1970's, some French-language pop music of the same vintage, some military tunes, and so on...but nothing that seemed to fit what I was looking for. Not this time, anyway.

Seeing all the albums with CBC/Radio Canada branding on the album covers annoyed me for one simple reason: I miss seeing CBC products available at retail outlets. Yes, there's streaming audio and video these days, and a lot of people rightly find it helpful. Not the same, though.
dewline: Three question marks representing puzzlement (Puzzlement 2)
A question for my reporter/journalist friendlisters, particularly the ones outside of North America: why do I often see acronyms not having every initial capitalized?

"Nasa" as opposed to "NASA", for example, or "Nafta" instead of "NAFTA"?
