Women's March Ottawa 2018
Jan. 21st, 2018 09:30 amI went and participated. Stood there for the two hours or so, and then marched when the word went out. Mostly, I kept silent because they needed the numbers to show up, but mine isn't among the voices that must be heard at such times as those.
I ached from the waistline to the arches of my feet because my own body is not what it was when I was younger. But again, I was not there for my comfort. Not for that event, not for that process.
I took pictures with my camera-phone, and I am conflicted as to whether I should post any of them anywhere on the Net right now. I did last year, but was persuaded to remove them out of concern for the safety of other participants.
