...but I hear there was maybe one low light in the whole thing: that "old-stock Canadians" dog-whistle comment about the refugee situation Harper made.

Meanwhile, I'm stumbling into a weekend with a lack of self-defined plans. Preparations for family-related travels, mostly. Yes, there's a countdown involved. No, I'm not planning on explaining details until after it's over. Assuming I'm free to do so at all. After all, my life may revolve around me, but the rest of the multiverse is under no such obligations.
