Funny thing about luck

What's left of Sandy should have been over our heads here in Ottawa-Gatineau, or pretty close to the south of us by this point in the day. According to reports from the States, it pretty much fell apart last night, though.

We got lucky.

Still not convinced that such luck is always going to hold. We have our own version of a tornado alley running from Windsor to Ottawa roughly across the southern reaches of Ontario, after all.
