A couple of additional pieces of good news...

...first, that one of my favourite movies from last year - The Trotsky - got two of the Genie Awards last night!

Second, that opaqueplanet and graphicnovelist have birthdays coming up, and I'd like to wish them good times on their respective Days!

And I just heard about the latest tsunami

I'll learn more over the course of the day at my day-job desk, no doubt. I've got at least one friendly acquaintance, Ray Larabie of Typodermic Fonts fame living in Nihon as of right now so there's a personal stake right there.

Hoping for the best, however irrationally...and I'll check back after work tonight.
