Something I've noticed for the last couple of months: The statue of this gentleman warrior has been missing from its place of honour amongst the exhibit called "The Valiants" next to the War Memorial in Centretown, with a sign saying that it's undergoing repairs.

Would anyone happen to know how it came to need repairs in the first place?
