Respect: Cpl. Christopher Jonathan Reid

Sadly, we've lost another one.

Cpl. Reid was with the 1st Battalion, PPCLI, stationed in Afghanistan. Details at this CBC article.

The word got out the same day as the funeral services for Cpls. Gomez and Warren, apparently.

Meanwhile, the rotation program to bring in fresh personnel continues.

Degrassi, Comics and Friends

Something one of my friends has been working on for a while now is about to hit the stores in a little while: Degrassi: Extra Credit.

The friend's name is J. Torres. He's a writer, based out of first Montréal and then Toronto, whom I've kept in touch with for a longish while, and he's done a lot of stuff for a lot of outfits on both sides of the border. D:EC is his Next Big Thing...and it's got its own blog now.
