Health: Dental Improvements

So...the federal dental care programme continues to be brought into effect.

It's decades late. It's still needed. And I'm glad it's finally on its way.

The out-of-pocket costs have been dogging me ever since I aged out of my parents' work-derived medical coverage, I've never been able to hold a job long enough to get similar benefits of my own, and by this time next year, that financial-medical pain is going to finally end.

That's excellent! Can't wait for other countries to adapt that, which the USA never will. My dad went to a dental college and got adequate dental treatment. A friend of mine, apparently his wife's coverage wasn't sufficient, I drove him down to Mexico for some work once! As it happened, I was out of work at the same time and got my own teeth cleaned at the same visit. While their equipment was decidedly a generation older than what they were using in America, they were very skilled and professional. They gave me a sealed bottle of water for my 'rinse and spit'! No problems with Montezuma's Revenge on that trip!

That entire city has become a Mecca for Americans to go to get dental work done, not only that, but lots of USA dentists outsource bridges and stuff to dentists in that city!
