OCDSB Zone 8: A Better Alternative, Reconsidered

I suspect that I made a mistake in voting for Donna Dickson for OCDSB Zone 8. I was unclear as to her stand on public health measures needed for this Pandemic. I am now less certain of her, from watching the OCDSB meeting currently in progress. She's raised mask-skeptical questions in meeting.

I think in a lot of cases there weren't alternatives. And people I thought were smarter than that are spouting a pro-mass-infection line now. Still, OCDSB is doing better than TDSB for even suggesting mandates.

In Zone 8, we had at least one alternative who was explicitly running on a "let's protect against COVID" platform and was also non-fascist. My neighbourhood had that option. Dickson has a history in positive activism on other fronts, which gave her an advantage with me.
