I did two things tonight for my mental health: I blocked Musk and pre-emptively reported Trump for spamming before blocking him.

I hate that this is even happening. I don't want to think about how this is potentially going to impact the 2024 election down here in Murrika.

If Twitter goes down permanently, one of the consequences might be disorganized far-right messaging.

Yeah, who am I kidding? With Fox News, Newsmax, OANN, Sinclair Media Group, and probably others I'm misremembering? They'll get out their own votes.

Aside from the one reply I did on your post a week or two ago, I don't think I've been on Twitter since Musk took over.

I don't expect it to see December, or much into it. With him restoring Trump, what remaining high-value advertisers are going to be seriously looking at their buys, and advertising is 90% of Twitter's revenue. He ain't gonna remotely make that up with $8/month blue checkmarks.

He's sunk, Twitter is over.
