What worries me is that there are people in politics around the world right now who are going to see this as a positive consequence of COVID-19, and that seeking such consequences for the brain-gifted will be an unspoken motive for seeking to end the Pandemic safety protocols.

Oh, I think that is definitely a feature not a bug for certain types of people.

My executive function and ability to concentrate tanked hard after the first time I had COVID in February-March 2021, and I'm still not where I used to be pre-COVID a year and a half later, so this is definitely a real thing that people should be concerned about and one more reason why people should try to not get COVID.
