I have my fourth vaccine dose. It's done.

I'm still not interested in being reinfected, regardless of what the Convoy Crowd demands of me and mine.

One of my best friends last week traveled to the Boston area with his wife to visit in-laws. Went back to Arizona with Covid. Fortunately he had four shots and is currently suffering from nothing worse than bad cold symptoms and has no serious health problems otherwise. Here's hoping he doesn't contract long-term brain fog problems!

Last night my boss contacted me to let me know she has Covid and will be out for a minimum of five days, so I'll be alone in the library today and tomorrow - a work-study will be in Mon-Weds next week. Which means I've also been exposed and will be testing daily for several days. I haven't had my fourth shot but plan on getting it tomorrow. I have had two monoclonal antibody "preventatives" called Evusheld since I am immune deficient that are highly effective.

I've seen charts that show the risk of death from acute infection is reduced with each round of vaccine that you get. The risk is nearly negligible after 2 shots and 2 boosters. I'm looking forward especially to new nasal vaccines that will become available.

Got my fourth shot yesterday.
Getting my butt kicked from it (aches/pains/every arthritic joint), but better than being part of the problem here as our numbers rise.

I don't want to get it again either - I'm about the only person still wearing my mask at work.
