I was listening to a Fresh Air interview from last November, IIRC, with an Atlantic writer who said that the American counties with the biggest shift/loss of white population were most likely to have people who went to/participated in the January 6 Capital Riots.
The way that Rupert Murdoch has remade the USA, further poisoned/amplified by Donald Trump, it's possible the entire world is screwed because of what Murdoch has done over the past few decades in the name of greed and conservatism, and it's possible that the Ukraine War has opened people's eyes to what criminal thuggery and autocracy is and we have a chance at a course correction now.
I don't hold up much hope for the world in a hundred years. But I'll be gone in 20-30 and I have no idea what can be done against the overwhelming machinations that the RNC have put into place to try to get Trump back in to power and to keep the Republicans in power.
