To be fair, it might be better to have them in a couple of places where an eye can be kept in them than dispersed all over.

If I were planning a campaign of civil disobedience I'd probably prefer a dispersed model with unpredictable, short-term but carefully chosen targets than one with one or two large clumps of protesters who can be contained and monitored.

I think they know that too. So they might be leaving stuff specifically for our side to be conditioned to watch. I guess that's one of the "known unknowns", right?

Thanks for the links. I've been watching this (not nearly as much as I wanted to; the CBC's general livestreams have been shut down for international viewing until the Olympics are over, according to a response I got from a CBC help line person that I contacted yesterday), and it's made me furious. The Muh Freedumb convoy is - well, as Bonhoeffer said, "Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than malice. One may protest against evil ... against stupidity, we are defenseless"
