dewlineEyesight is stable.
The back-of-the-eyeball issue is stable.
The exam price got discounted by one-third.
I missed my first bus homeward, but managed to catch a second one two minutes later.
Small blessings, and I'm grateful for them all.
And now, back to our regularly-scheduled troubles, whatever they happen to be...

Date: 2021-12-08 01:39 pm (UTC)I laugh because shortly before my lunch break at work yesterday I went to adjust my glasses and the bloody frames broke!
Fortunately I ordered identical frames for my normal glasses and my sunglasses, so a trip down to Walmart got the lenses swapped, and today I'm driving my wife down to Las Cruces for a diagnostic procedure, so I can talk to my optical shop about ordering another set of frames.

Date: 2021-12-08 11:43 pm (UTC)I was lucky. I got my glasses two years ago and they had my frame in stock! $140 later, I now have both pairs back in service! (not that I'm happy that repair is no longer an option)
