There is a stereotype being built here about Republicans from Wisconsin, and I'm afraid that this is the latest installment in the self-wounding process. I say this because CBC News has noticed Rep. Glenn Grothman, my friends.

One wants to believe that Grothman knows better about that issue because he is in the US Congress...but one also suspects that he feels compelled to pretend otherwise, for the same reason.

As with everyone else in the House of Representatives, November of the next even-numbered year. (Reps have 2-year terms, presidents four, and senators six.)

When I heard he was leaving the state legislature, I was so happy. Until he announced that he was running for Congress, oy.

So he's on the list for next year, then.

Not that I get to vote on it, of course...
