Public Transit and the Pandemic

COVID-19 might have given me a break from the stresses of public transit...but it still isolated me from people I've wanted to stay in touch with. Flawed as that public transit still is.

(And the "blah" emoticon should NOT be smiling.)

I hardly ever take transit now. I hardly go anywhere that isn't in walking distance. It's some bullshit.

If I felt free to do so, I'd be doing a lot more exploring of the city with public transit. I've lived here over 35 years now, and I still don't feel like I know Ottawa-Gatineau anywhere near as well as I'd like to.

You've seen some of the exploration I've gotten up to over the years via Flickr, right?

There's some stuff of varying vintages I've been meaning to upload to Flickr in recent weeks that I keep putting off and I don't quite understand why I put it off. I log it in the job search diary as a promotional/networking activity, and since I've been applying for graphic design jobs in earnest hope of landing one...
