Pop-Up Art Audition

I just auditioned for a graphic design gig. It was completely impulsive, spur of the moment stuff. Sloppy to my mind, and I expect it to fall through.

I had to make the attempt, though.

Great shock after great shock. This is the rest of my life, however long or short it's forced to be.

Yes, worth the attempt, there's so much chance involved in selections that it's great you keep throwing the die.

I don't even want to look up "pop-up audition" - it sounds revolting. Its venue was probably curated. (Please note my curled lip.)

On the other hand, I have found it useful to know that an employer revels in chaos because that's a clear sign that I won't fit. Chaos can be dealt with; delighted fostering of chaos, not so much.

The other person was musing out loud about wanting a word mark for their own reasons, and I decided to turn that into an opportunity. We've known each other a few years, and while it didn't work out, we're still on distantly-friendly terms.
